DuctFix Take-off
Load PDFs (Local)
Add drawings in one or more goes, reorder them, then load. Nothing is uploaded.
Quick Guide
- Register or sign into your account.
- Click and select your drawing(s). Rotate if required in Tools.
- Input Project Name and Drawing Number.
- Open the Tools menu and select Calibrate.
- Find a known dimension on the drawing, click either side, then enter the dimension.
- Rename the group (for example: Supply Duct).
- Select a duct item from the right-hand side.
- For straight ductwork, click Rectangular Straight or Spiral.
- Select the diameter / input size above the duct item buttons.
- Single-click where the duct run begins and move the mouse in the direction of the duct. At elbows, left-click and continue. Double-click to end the run.
- For individual items, select the duct item (change size above if necessary) then double-click where required on the drawing.
- When complete, use the always-visible takeoff controls under the duct item buttons.
- Click Generate Quote.
- The quote will download to your computer and a copy will be emailed to your registered email address.
Notes
- You must be logged in to generate a quote.
- Take offs are stored on the DuctFix website but drawings are not. When restoring a take off you will also need to re-load the original PDF drawing.
- Press F11 to create more drawing space on your screen.

- After logging in, return to this tab. If prompted, click Restore Your Last Session.
